What’s on at local National Trust Properties this Summer
Budding explorers can drop by and try their hand at pond-dipping looking with rangers for newts, water beetles and other underwater creatures. 2- 4pm. Free event (normal admission charges apply)

Sip cocktails on the bowling lawn as the jazz band perform from the Loggia, and soak up the beautiful surroundings of the D’Oyly Carte’s 1920s summer home on this special evening of elegance and music. 7.30pm – 10pm. Tickets £20. Booking Essential.

Enjoy a celebration of local produce and fine dining in Agatha Christie’s beloved holiday home by the River Dart.

All through the summer you will be able to enjoy our exhibition highlighting the story of the creation of this extraordinary garden - from Eric Hopkins, the first owner who laid out the garden, then by the Verekers, Otto Overbeck & National Trust taking us to the present day. Exotic,rare plants in a stunning clifftop location - not to be missed.
12 September – Heritage Open Day
Part of the nationwide open day to encourage everyone to make the most of our properties - house and garden will be open for free.
25 September – Tropical Foliage – Garden Tour & Talk
- Join Cat Saunders, our head gardener for a tour around our sub-tropical garden, full of rare and exotic trees and plants including a talk on the plants and origins of the garden. 2.30 – 3.30pm. Free event but normal admission charges apply.
20 August - Outdoor Theatre – Robin Hood
Robin Hood and his band of Merry Men raise a ruckus, swashbuckling their way into our hearts doing all the wrong things for the right reasons. Booking Essential.
