When Rowcroft launched its re-branded design and awareness campaign at Dartmouth’s Royal Naval College two years ago, its aim was pro-actively to reach out to communities across South Devon - 2 years on, the campaign has had hugely positive results. Read more

Les spent most of his life flying fast-jet aeroplanes, firstly operating F4 Phantoms in the RAF and then going on to test-fly Tornados for British Aerospace. Read more


Nigel Thomas is the engineer for the last remaining coal fired paddle steamer in the UK, the Kingswear Castle. Nigel has worked on the vessel since 2007 – he first joined as a volunteer and embarked on a more involved position in 2008. Read more


The 26-year-old marine biologist is business manager at Monty Halls’ Great Escapes and can often be seen out on the water in the company’s RIB, as both skipper and marine educator. Read more
