A walk around Berry Head in Brixham will blow away any cobwebs with far-reaching views, a nature reserve, an iconic lighthouse and a Napoleonic Fort. While the dogs will love the smells and open space you'll all enjoy the treats in store at the Guardhouse Café.
And don't forget Dartmouth is home to many dog-friendly cafes and shops - including Cafe Alfresco, Bayards Cove Inn, The George & Dragon to name but a few.
