The Sharpham Trust
The Sharpham Trust’s spectacular setting beside the River Dart in South Devon, makes it the perfect wedding venue.
On a few occasions each year, the Trust welcomes couples to use Sharpham House and its wonderful gardens exclusively for their weddings.
Many couples choose to hold their ceremony on Sharpham House’s famous feature: our spectacular, oval, cantilevered staircase, rising three floors beneath a domed ceiling and lantern skylight.
The Bride & Groom and up to 36 guests can stay in comfortable bedrooms in relaxed surroundings, while the wedding couple can choose from five elegant rooms licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies in this Georgian Palladian mansion designed in 1770.
To arrange a viewing, contact House Manager Denise Scribbins on 01803 732842 or email her on housemanager@sharphamtrust.org
The Sharpham Trust is a charity working to connect people with nature and to promote mindfulness and well-being through a programme of retreats in Sharpham House, in The Coach House, in its woodland and at the renowned Barn Retreat Centre, through mindfulness courses and through events and outdoor learning.
The Trust’s 550-acre Estate – within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - is home to Sharpham Meadow Natural Burial Ground and the award-winning Sharpham Cheese.
