We are open for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner every day which can be consumed either inside or in the beer garden. And if you are looking for overnight accommodation we provide bed and breakfast in one of our two well-appointed ensuite rooms.
The pub was originally built in the 14th century, and in its current form in 1874 after a fire destroyed the building. Juliet and Steve are bringing it into the 20th century whilst keeping the traditional character.
The Old Inn is lucky to have a large garden and patio for those long hot summer days. This year they have introduced fencing and raised planters to add extra seating and safety for the visiting families.
There are a selection of local and West Country beers with Otter Ales taking a permanent position at the bar.
The Old Inn has its own mascot in the form of their performing dog SADIE. She entertains the young and old with a bar mat catching trick and she even has her own yearly calendar.
The Old Inn is a dog and child friendly establishment as long as they are with well-behaved parents/owners.

The Old Inn prides itself in its comprehensive menu of traditional and modern dishes, cooked with fresh ingredients, from Juliet's Steak, Mushroom and Ale pie, Beer Battered Cod and Chips alongside Thai style Salmon Fishcakes, fresh cut sandwiches and baguettes.
There is a selection of three well-kept ales with Otter Amber taking a permanent position on the bar. Other Otter Ales frequent the bar alongside Ales from local West Country breweries including Dartmoor Brewery, Hunters Brewery, Hanlons, Sharps, Red Rock, Teignworthy and many more.
Alongside the traditional cold lagers Otter Tarka has dived in and all that take the plunge enjoy the smooth fresh taste of the pilsner lager.
Cider is very popular and two local cider presses are represented, Ashridge of Staverton and Hunts of Stoke Gabriel.We are open for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner every day which can be consumed either inside or in the beer garden.
Lunchtime Meals: 12.00 noon - 3.00 Tuesday to Saturday.
Evening Meals: 5.30 - 9.00 Tuesday to Saturday.
Sunday Roast 12.00 noon - 7.00.

All prices are per person, per room and include breakfast from our extensive menu. A booking deposit of £20 per room per night is required when making a reservation. This is fully refundable up to 24 hours prior to arrival.
