There’s some very pretty and secluded coves around Brixham, including Elberry, which has always been dog friendly and a good local spots away from the crowds.
Elberry is a pretty shingle beach with beautiful clear water, which can only be reached by foot along the coast path from Broadsands or Brixham. It was one of Agatha Christie’s favourite bathing spots and features in one of her novels. And on the beach stands the romantic ruins of Lord Churston’s bathhouse.
