Overview
Dragon's Nest is a beautifully modern two bedroom apartment situated in Dartmouth's town centre. With the central location of the apartment the views, shops and boating activities we have to offer in Dartmouth are only a stone's throw away. Dragon's Nest and the apartment George's Den are in connection with The George and Dragon Pub, the pub and apartments have been restored and extended, the pub is the new foodie destination in Dartmouth. Once you've arrived the pub are offering guests staying in Dragon's Nest a fantastic offer of 25% off an evening meal up to four people. Both the pub and the apartments, Dragon's Nest and George's Den, have been completely refurbished inside and out. Drago's Nest apartment is accessed by its own separate front door located in Undercliffe, behind the pub. The apartment has been decorated and furnished to a high standard, you'll be surrounded by calm neutral tones, modern furniture and historic features. From the front of the apartment you'll also have river glimpses and a perfect view of the air displays during the Regatta period. All of these elements will help to build your modern fairy tale. The George and Dragon sometimes has live music in the Main Bar or the garden during high season, Bank Holidays and Festival times, only good quality folk, jazz, blues and soft rock by talented local musicians. However we'd like to make you aware that you can sometimes hear this loud music in the apartments. Although feel free to join in! This apartment can also be booked in conjunction with George's Den.

Hallway
Dragon's Nest, the upper apartment, is located up two flights of stairs. The second flight of stairs is narrow and curved so please be aware if some members of the party are younger in age. At the top of the stairs you'll find a door appropriately labelled Dragon's Nest, once you have entered you'll find a long hallway, interpreted as the dragon's tail. The hallway is beautifully decorated with pictures of the local area and the wooden eaves are highlighted in black paint to create a historic feel to the apartment. Along the hallway towards the end of the apartment you'll find a luggage area where you can hang cloths, store your bags away and other items for the duration of your stay. There is also an intercom telephone which connects to the main door of the building, a vintage style sofa to relax on whilst everyone else is unpacking and an iron is located in the cupboard, ready for the smart occasions you may have booked whilst on holiday.
Kitchen/Dining
The kitchen and dining area is an open plan room, the kitchen surrounds the outer walls whilst the dining table is located in the centre of the room. This room has a warm red and cream colour scheme, igniting the imagination, it could be seen as the mouth of the fiery dragon. There are many brand new features in the kitchen, there is a built in oven and induction hob, a dishwasher and washing machine to help eliminate the household chores whilst you're on holiday. An under counter free standing fridge is available to use which is large enough for when the apartment is at full capacity, a four slot toaster, large bread bin, state-of-the-art microwave, coffee machine, to help with those early mornings and a kettle. In the centre of the open plan kitchen and dining room is a wooden and cream style extendable dining table and chairs, there is enough seating for four people.The George and Dragon include a Free 500g bag of G&D Own Blend Freshly Ground Coffee in each apartment, Dragon's Nest and George's Den for each booking they receive.
Living
The living space is located opposite the kitchen and dining room, feel like you're at the top of the castle in this large open space decorated in stylish neutral colours and again the wooden eaves have been highlighted for historical effect. There is ample seating space with two deep two-seater sofas and two medium sized bean bags, enough for all the family. In the centre of the room a wicker, glass topped coffee table is ready and waiting for the drinks to sit whilst you're watching 'How to Train You Dragon' on DVD on the huge flat screen TV. A selection of DVD's and CD's are available to use during your holiday, a DVD player and CD player are located in the living area. This living space is beautifully pieced together providing cosy, comfortable living throughout your holiday.
Bedrooms
Dragon's Nest has a total of two bedrooms, the first bedroom is positioned at the front of the George and Dragon building and the second bedroom is directly opposite. Both bedrooms are decorated with neutral colours and modern wooden and cream furniture, each bedroom has a king size bed, dressing table with chair and mirror, two matching bedside tables and lamps. In the first bedroom at the front of the property additional to what the second bedroom has there is a chest of drawers, wicker washing basket and wicker storage box. These spacious bedrooms are light, airy and spacious, allowing you to sleep peacefully.
Bathroom
The bathroom is located between the two bedrooms, this is a spacious shower room comprising of a modern glass fronted walk in chrome shower, within the shower cubical there are shelves available for your toiletries. Next to the shower you'll find a clothes airer and ironing board there for you to use. There is also a wc, hand basin, shaver point and storage boxes in this bathroom. Above the sink, you'll see a modern mirror that, with a swipe of your hand, LED lights will switch on, this is a helpful feature for putting on your make-up before a night out on the town. There is also a chrome towel rail, to keep the fluffy towels delightfully warm.
Parking
A car park permit is valid from April - September and entitles you to an unreserved space in Mayor's Avenue Car Park.
