Brixham Orpheus Male Voice Choir
Brixham Orpheus Male Voice Choir
The Brixham Orpheus Male Voice Choir (BOMVC) was formed in 1954. Each year the choir has a varied list of engagements in and around Torbay, South Devon and the West Country area. As well as participating in formal concerts, the choir also sings down on the quay in Brixham on a number of Wednesday evenings in the summer to the delight of many holidaymakers and local people. The choir looks forward to meeting our regular supporters on these occasions and to meeting and making many more new friendships.
The choir is always interested in supporting a wide range of charities and good causes. Each Thursday evening, the choir practice between 7.30 and 9.30pm in the Christian Community Centre, Fore Street Brixham. Singing from a wide repertoire the choir enjoy many pieces well known to male voice choirs from sacred to traditional, from songs of the sea to popular tunes. If you like singing or the idea of singing then why not come along and see us for yourself, as all are welcome.
