Join this magical evening flaming torch lit walk along the South West Coast Path around Coleton Fishacre and Froward Point as part of the South West Coast Path Challenge. Carry your own flaming torch and navigate along this beautiful piece of Coast Path viewing it in a whole different light.
The walk will take in the WWII gun battery at Froward Point and the stunning garden at Coleton Fishacre before returning you to your start point, which weather permitting will provide panoramic moonlit views of Torbay South Devon and Dartmoor. (it did last year!!)
Difficulty & Terrain:
The Coast Path is steep and narrow in places so we would recommend a reasonable level of fitness despite the relatively short route. The main route is 4 miles, though we will aim to provide a shorter option as well.
Please remember that this guided walk takes place after nightfall which makes it wonderfully atmospheric, but also makes an electric torch a necessity!
Participants:
Maximum 30 people. Children over 12 and dogs on leads welcome.
Please note there will be a photographer capturing this event.
