This summer get prepared for your Challenge. We’re encouraging as many people as possible to walk or run the Coast Path and clock up enough miles to beat last year’s record. Join one of the organised events across October, or set yourself a personal challenge and walk as much or as little as you like. Invite along your family and friends to share a favourite walk together.
In 2016, 800 participants took part in events and we collectively clocked up over 12,500 miles – that's equivalent to walking or running the 630-mile Coast Path 20 times! The Challenge raised a total of £19,000.
This fundraising event will raise money to care for the South West Coast Path and is a charity partnership between the South West Coast Path Association and the National Trust.
