Gear up and sign up for Rowcroft’s fundraising cycle challenge, Ride for Rowcroft, taking place at Newton Abbot Racecourse on Sunday 8 October 2017!
Last year Ride for Rowcroft was a massive success, with over 300 people saddling up to complete the 24km route, raising a staggering £43,000 to help local families living with life-limiting illnesses share precious time together. This year on Sunday 8 October we want to beat this total and go bigger and better!
Starting at Newton Abbot Racecourse and snaking up to Bovey Tracey through Chudleigh Knighton, the 2017 Ride for Rowcroft route is the same as 2016’s combining smooth tarmacked roads with country lanes and cycle tracks for speed, variety and stunning views. The route is ideal for those wanting to tackle their first cycle challenge, beat a personal best or simply spend the morning riding with friends, while helping to raise vital funds and awareness of South Devon’s local hospice, Rowcroft.
Cyclists crossing the finishing line at Newton Abbot Racecourse will be rewarded with their very own completion medal, a hot drink and well-deserved bacon buttie!
Registration for Ride for Rowcroft 2017 is now open – so guarantee your place and sign up today!
