Join the National Trust, Plantlife, Devon Greater Horeshoe Bat Project and the Bat Conservation Trust for an evening walk to take in some of the Kingswear Peninsular’s wonderful wildlife. Join us to look at wild flowers of arable margins and farmland birds, followed by a bring-your-own picnic and a guided bat walk to see and hear some of Devon’s night time wonders after sunset.
Kingswear Peninsular is home to the rare greater horseshoe bat and Cirl Bunting. There are also some fascinating wild flowers (such Weasel’s Snout and Corn Marigold) which thrive in farmland found here.
Tea and coffee will be provided but please bring your own picnic and appropriate clothing for keeping warm after sunset.
