The Royal Navy’s largest training establishment in the South West will be opening it’s gates to visitors between noon and 5 pm on Wednesday 1 August.
Members of the public will be allowed to take a look around the base in Torpoint to see where young recruits are transformed from civilians into sailors.
A day out for all the family, the programme will allow visitors to take a look at the specialist training provided at the base, including weapons training, logistics, seamanship and submarine operations.
