Folk at the Flavel welcomes Flook, one of the legendary folk bands of the late 1990's and early 2000's who have recently reformed after a hiatus of 10 years.
After forming in 1997, Flook had a remarkably successful performing and recording career. The sheer enjoyment of playing together shined through their albums but was also a key factor in their very successful live shows. Three studio albums, "Flatfish" released in 1999, "Rubai" in 2002 and "Haven" in 2005 were all critically applauded and they won the accolade of Best Group at the BBC Folk Awards in 2006 having previously been nominated for Best Album. Owing to overwhelming popular demand they are back together to play a limited tour of Europe so catch these rare shows while you can. Flook are flutists Brian Finnegan and Sarah Allen, guitarist Ed Boyd and bodhran maestro, John Joe Kelly.
