Easter sees a series of fun-filled Fairy Tale, Explorer and Easter-themed activity days at the Museum. Plus there are Easter trails around the Museum throughout Half Term, with a prize at the end. Normal Museum admission charges apply (pay once and get in free for a year), plus £2.50 each for activity days.
Monday 3rd April - Fairy Tales-themed arts & crafts Activity Day, including make a wand or shield.
Wednesday 5th April - Explorers-themed Activity Day - find out about the amazing expeditions of Torquay-born explorer Col. Percy Fawcett, star of the Hollywood movie The Lost City of Z, then make a snake or spider.
Friday 7th April - Fairy Tales-themed arts & crafts Activity Day, including make a wand or shield, giant ears, grow a beanstalk.
Monday 10th April - Explorers-themed Activity Day - find out about the amazing expeditions of Torquay-born explorer Col. Percy Fawcett, star of the Hollywood movie The Lost City of Z, then make a snake or spider.
Wednesday 12th April - Easter-themed arts & crafts activities, including making bunny ears, decorating eggs, etc.
Saturday 15th April - Fairy Tale Fun Day. Including an Easter pantomime starring Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, the Mad Hatter and a bad fairy — booking essential, tel: 01803 293975. Also includes arts & crafts activities, a fairy tale trail and fancy dress competition. The charge for this day is £5, including free pantomime.
