Regatta week has started with the opening ceremony scheduled for Wednesday 25th August. This much loved, volunteer-run event has LOTS of family fun with competitions on and off the water including......Colouring, crabbing, tennis, rowing, sailing, bowling, golf, darts, fancy dress, ice cream eating, running, barrel rolling and not forgetting the Spot the Oddity which continues to fox many a family.
Shoreside there is shopping, music, entertainment, dancing and don't forget the displays of flyboarding, Newfoundland dogs and boats.
Friday is Fun Day - perhaps the silliest and yet perhaps most serious Friday of the year in Dartmouth! Watch out for the WAITERS AND WAITRESSES RACES, BARREL ROLLING and the INTERNATIONAL TROLLEY GRAND PRIX.
Fireworks finish off the event with a bang on Regatta Saturday at 9pm

COVID UPDATE:
Devon County Council Community Rapid Lateral Flow testing team will be in Dartmouth each afternoon during the regatta (13:00 – 18:00 on the North Embankment), from Saturday 21st to Friday 27th August and will be conducting community testing on site and uploading the results onto the NHS system and this service will be freely available to anyone aged 16 and over who are not presenting with any Covid-19 symptoms. If you use this service you`ll still need to obtain a Covid pass from the NHS App yourself to gain entry to the events.
