The Dartmouth Mayflower 400 Project Film
This specially commissioned film tells the fascinating story of Dartmouth’s Mayflower 400 Project – why it all started, what it has achieved and how it will be remembered.

Part 1 - Richard Holledge - author of Voices of The Mayflower
Richard will base his talk on the research he did when writing Voices of the Mayflower, with a particular emphasis on Dartmouth.
Part 2 - The Lyric Trio Performing a Programme of 17th Century Music
Patricia Calnan Violin, George Robertson Viola, Vicky Evans Cello.
Including pieces by Cavalli, Telemann, Purcell, Corelli, Pachelbel, Ravenscroft, Eccles, Pearsall and Stainer.
Part 3 - Dartmouth Mayflower 400 Short Film Premiere
A programme of four contemporary short films inspired by themes of the Mayflower Story. These films are creative and thought-provoking – a completely different and refreshing take on familiar themes.
This is a Dartmouth Mayflower 400 Education Project working with students of Plymouth College of Art and local students on work experience, and guided by Peter Nicholson, the award-winning film director.
Part 4 - Dr Stephanie Pratt - Mayflower and the English views of Indigenous North Americans in the Early 17th Century
Part 5 - Stile Antico - Music-drama commemorates 400 years since the sailing of the Mayflower
World-renowned vocal ensemble Stile Antico have created a unique music-drama film exploring the story of the Mayflower Pilgrims exactly 400 years after they set sail from Plymouth.
Each of the 5 parts is an online streamed event and all tickets are £10.00 per person.The event link will be available to view for 24-hrs from the start time.
