In a lovely blend of forest bathing, wildlife appreciation and creative writing, Mike Ingram (ecologist) and Emma Capper (certified forest therapy guide) invite you on a sensory & ecological exploration into “being the Dart.”
The walks will cover no more than a mile as we stop often to connect with the beings of the river and its environs.
In the last hour we will have locally foraged herb tea and a snack (provided).while we share our musings, poetry. and Mike will answer any ecological questions you have on river life.
The aim of the walk is to relax and discover the Dart River in a new way.
15 places on each walk
Suggested for folk aged 11yrs and upwards.
The River Dart Charter at Dartington is a pilot project of The Bioregional Learning Centre and Dartington’s estate team. Find out more here. (https://www.dartington.org/about
