Redevelopment of Dartmouth Business Park
Readers may already have noticed the refurbishment that has taken place in recent months of industrial units around Collingwood Road (opposite RGC and adjacent to Howdens). This is phase 1 of a long-term development of this two-acre site by South Hams based developers, Sheyenne Ltd, that also includes the Howdens operations. Excluding Howdens, 10,000 ft2 of an eventual 32,000 ft2 development has been refurbished to provide modern and flexible industrial and commercial units.
Now renamed as the Dartmouth Business Park, the site is important economically for the town. When finished, the developers hope that the Business Park will have helped to create 50-60 new jobs attracting a variety of new businesses to the town and also allowing existing businesses such as Apollo IT, Ribeye and Howdens to expand.
The 4 new units range in size from 119 m2 – 561 m2 with the potential for adjacent units to be combined to meet larger size requirements. The units are suitable for B1, B2 and B8 planning use classes including trade counter – i.e. from storage, office to heavy industrial use.
The units are available individually or in multiples (s.t. availability) to lease or for purchase with annual rents from £5.90 ft2 . For more information contact First Peninsula Commercial on 01548 854455
